The camping area in Samsaari

Samsaari is located in the western archipelago of Rymättylä, and can also be accessed by a ferry named Isla. Our camping area is situated at the eastern side of the island. The facilities on the island are basic and rustic, with no running water or electricity. In our small cabin, there is a cozy sauna and a functional camp kitchen.
In the summer of 2015, work parties were held on the island, during which outdoor toilets and a covered terrace for the cabin were constructed. There is a dock and a buoy for boats on the southern side of the area, near the cabin. In Falkinniemi, we traditionally enjoy atmospheric evening campfires as the sun sets. The beautiful natural forest is perfectly suited for Märssyvahdit’s camping activities.

Today, the highly popular Samsaari features a swimming dock (built in 2019), and in 2023 efforts were made to tidy up the well located in the area. There are also plans to repair the kitchen roof in the summer of 2024..
